<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow pipe having drastically high second moment of area as compared to a hollow circular section or a hollow section though having the second moment of area slightly lower than a rectangular section, and having high material efficiency of FRP. <P>SOLUTION: This hollow pipe 1 includes: a base pipe 2 which is a long base pipe 2 extending in a longitudinal axis direction, made of a fiber reinforced resin material, and which has an upper face wall 21 and a lower face wall 22 in parallel disposed in an up-and-down direction in a cross section orthogonal to the longitudinal axis direction, and both side face walls 23, 24 integrally disposed in both end parts of the upper face wall 21 and the lower face wall 22, and curved to the outside; and reinforcing members 3 layered on the upper face wall 21 and the lower face wall 22 of the base plate 2, and formed of a fiber reinforced resin material having a longitudinal elastic modulus in the longitudinal axis direction equal to or higher than the base pipe 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
