PURPOSE: A device and a method for adhering a friction material of a clutch pulley are provided to improve productivity and prevent bad adhesion of the friction material by automatically detecting the coated state of a liquid adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION: A device for adhering a friction material of a clutch pulley includes a transfer unit(110) intermittently transferring the clutch pulley forming an annular friction insertion groove in which the friction material of a ring shape is inserted; a dispenser unit(200) having a nozzle injecting a liquid adhesive agent into the friction material insertion groove; a friction material insertion unit(400) inserting the friction material into the friction material insertion groove coated with the liquid adhesive agent; and an inductive heating unit(500) adhering the friction material to the friction material insertion groove by inducing-heating and hardening the liquid adhesive agent while pressing the friction material. The device for adhering the friction material further includes a vision inspector(300) sensing the coated state of the liquid adhesive agent coated on the fiction material insertion groove and giving an alarm sound if the coated state of the liquid adhesive agent is bad.
