NEW CRYSTAL OF 4-AMINO-5-CHLORO-2-ETHOXY-N-[[4-(4-FLUOROBENZYL)-2-MORPHOLINYL]METHYL]BENZAMIDE OR SOLVATE THEREOF AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal of 4-amino-5-chloro-2-ethoxy-N-[[4-(4-fluorobenzyl)-2-morpholinyl]methyl]benzamide (1) or a solvate thereof.

SOLUTION: The crystal of 4-amino-5-chloro-2-ethoxy-N-[[4-(4-fluorobenzyl)-2-morpholinyl]methyl]benzamide (1) or the solvate thereof has a diffraction angle 2θ within the range of 11.5-11.7° and a diffraction peak within the range of 13.7-13.8° in the Cu-Kα wavelength X-ray diffraction measurement. A method for producing the crystal of 4-amino-5-chloro-2-ethoxy-N-[[4-(4-fluorobenzyl)-2-morpholinyl]methyl]benzamide (1) or a solvate thereof includes a step of depositing 4-amino-5-chloro-2-ethoxy-N-[[4-(4-fluorobenzyl)-2-morpholinyl]methyl]benzamide from a solution comprising a hydrophilic organic solvent, the 4-amino-5-chloro-2-ethoxy-N-[[4-(4-fluorobenzyl)-2-morpholinyl]methyl]benzamide (1), and not more than 0.4 mol water per 1 mol of the 4-amino-5-chloro-2-ethoxy-N-[[4-(4-fluorobenzyl)-2-morpholinyl]methyl]benzamide (1).
