<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump heat source machine with improved ventilation performance, as well as enhanced sound insulation properties. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump heat source machine includes: a water refrigerant heat exchanger 5; an air refrigerant heat exchanger 6; an air blower 15 for feeding air to the air refrigerant heat exchanger 6; a casing in which a refrigerant circuit and the air blower 15 are disposed; a protective cover 13 in which the water refrigerant heat exchanger 5 is stored; and a fixing tool 14 fixing the air blower 15. The heat pump heat source machine is configured such that: the protective cover 13 is fixed to the base plate 2 of the casing, and the lower part of the fixing tool 14 is fixed to the protective cover 13; and the upper part of the fixing tool 14 is sandwiched and fixed between the upper part of the air refrigerant heat exchanger 6 and the top plate 19 of the casing.
