<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant charging method for an air conditioning device accurately and quickly charging an optimal amount of refrigerant. <P>SOLUTION: In this refrigerant charging method for the air conditioning device 1 by which a specified amount of refrigerant is charged into a closed cycle refrigerant circuit 3 connecting an outdoor unit 10 to a plurality of indoor units 11-16 via refrigerant pipes 2, lengths and diameters of the refrigerant pipes 2A-2M connecting the outdoor unit 10 to the plurality of indoor units 11-16 disposed on each floor of a building 40, are specified within an actually-measurable or estimatable range, and the minimum amount of refrigerant necessary in the air conditioning device 1 is calculated on the basis of the lengths and diameters of the pipes, so that the refrigerant can be automatically charged to the specified charging amount by using a refrigerant automatic charging function after once the additional amount of refrigerant is charged in advance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
