<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic velocity flowmeter that reduces ultrasonic vibration of a flow channel and enables more accurate flow velocity and flow rate measurement. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic velocity flowmeter includes; a flow channel section 5 through which fluid to be measured flows; a pair of ultrasonic transmitter and ultrasonic receiver 8 installed at upstream and downstream locations of the flow channel section; ultrasonic transmitter/receiver fixing sections 1 and 2 that fix the ultrasonic transmitter/receiver 8; a time counting means 13 for measuring the propagation time of an ultrasonic wave between the ultrasonic transmitter/receiver 8; and a calculation means 14 to calculate the flow rate of the fluid to be measured based on the propagation time of an ultrasonic wave obtained by the time counting means 13. In this ultrasonic velocity flowmeter, the ultrasonic transmitter/receiver fixing sections 1 and 2 and the flow channel section 5 are provided as separate parts, and the ultrasonic transmitter/receiver fixing sections 1 and 2 and the flow channel section 5 are integrated at a plural of joining sections 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
