HANDOVER METHOD USED IN RADIO COMMUNICATION NETWORK WITH CARRIER AGGREGATION AND APPARATUS THEREOF

A method for user equipment (UE) service handover between a source base station and a target station in a radio communication network supporting carrier aggregation is provided in the present invention. The method includes steps: the target base station and the source base station jointly determine a main component carrier; the target base station sends a handover command for a UE to the source base station, and the handover command includes indication information of said main component carrier and assignment information of a dedicated preamble; the source base station receives said handover command for the UE from the target base station, and transfers said handover command to the UE; then, the UE accesses the target base station in accordance with the handover command. The devices in the source base station, the target base station and the UE for executing said method are also provided in the present invention. By use of the present invention, the smoothness and efficiency of the UE service handover between those two base stations in the carrier aggregation system can be improved, and the data transmission during the handover between the source base station and the target base station is simplified.
