<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material separation device separating a floor material boded on a floor by a floor material separation cutter provided at a tip end thereof, when self-travelling by a driving unit. <P>SOLUTION: The floor material separation device can self-travel by the driving unit while separating the floor inside and outside a building. The floor material separation device separates the floor material bonded on the floor by a flat cutting portion provided at a tip end lower portion. The floor material separation device is composed of at least a floor material separation cutter installing portion, the floor material separation cutter, the driving unit, and a drive control portion. The floor material separation cutter installing portion comes close to the floor under a tip end lower part of the floor material separation device, and is installed at an angle making the separation of the floor material easy. The floor material separation cutter is installed to the floor material separation cutter installing portion, and provided with the cutting portion at the tip end thereof so as to make separation along the floor material.
