<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device which can increase the amount of display light by efficiently reflecting incident light to an element substrate while preventing the occurrence of stray light or hillocks, a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal device, and a projection display device. <P>SOLUTION: In a reflective liquid crystal device 100, at a lower layer side of reflective pixel electrodes 9a, reflective wirings (a data line 6a and a capacitance line 5b) which are overlapped with gap regions 9s, 9t, each of which is sandwiched between adjacent pixel electrodes 9a, and made of an aluminum wiring are provided. Incident light to the gap regions 9s, 9t is reflected at the reflective wirings (the data line 6a and the capacitance line 5b) so that the incident light can be used for displaying images. On the surfaces of the data line 6a and the capacitance line 5b, light-blocking protective films 86a, 85b made of a silicon nitride film and the like are formed to expose regions overlapped with the gap regions 9s, 9t. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
