PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet excellent in high strength and magnetic properties, which is suitable as a rotor material of a high-speed rotating motor.SOLUTION: The non-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet has a component composition including, by mass%, 0.010% or less C, more than 3.5% and 5.0% or less Si, 0.2% or less Mn, 0.2% or less Al, 0.03% or less P, 0.005% or less S, 0.001% or more Ca, and 0.005% or less N, wherein more than 3.5% and 5.0% or less of Si+Al+0.5 Mn and more than 0.8 of Ca/S are satisfied, with the balance including Fe and inevitable impurities. The steel sheet has a thickness of 0.37 mm or less, a Wof 40 W/kg or less, and a TS of 600 MPa or more. |
