<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet molded article which has a number of hollow projections on one side or both sides of a sheet by deforming a resin-made sheet, and can constitute a structure with a plurality of sheets being layered on or connected to each other. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet molded article has a large number of hollow projections (Sp) to be used for shock-absorbing materials by deforming a part of a resin-made sheet. The sheet molded body having hollow projections to be layered on or connected to each other has a plurality of hollow projections (Mh) taller than the hollow projections (Sp) which are projected to one surface side of the sheet of the sheet molded body, and used for layering or connection. The plurality of sheet molded articles can constitute a tightly layered structure, a space-installed layered structure, and a transversely-connected structure.
