<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of managing information on work process at the time of manufacturing the device and traceability information, without increasing the size of the device. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 comprises: an imaging element 11 which converts light condensed by a lens 10 to electric signals; a signal processing unit 12 which processes the electric signals obtained from the imaging element 11 as an image signals; a non-volatile recording medium 13 which stores at least setting information of the signal processing unit 12; and a connector 15 having an image output terminal 15b for outputting the image signals processed by the signal processing unit 12, a first terminal 15c for writing information to be recorded in the recording medium 13 and a second terminal 15d for reading information stored in the recording medium 13. The first terminal 15c inputs process history information which indicates a process history.
