<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for modifying separation membrane capable of expanding pores of a separation membrane made of cellulose acetate in a short time, and obtaining the separation membrane whose pores have been expanded and which exhibits little deterioration and performs high energy-efficiency membrane separation of water to be treated, for the size of the pores. <P>SOLUTION: The method for modifying separation membrane is characterized in that micro pores of the separation membrane are expanded by causing the separation membrane formed of cellulose acetate to contact with alcohol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
