<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-ballasted fluorescent lamp and a lighting fixture, with temperature characteristics improved through enhancement of cooling effects at the coolest point. <P>SOLUTION: The self-ballasted fluorescent lamp 10 is provided with a fluorescent tube 1, a protrusion 2, a housing part 3, a base 4 and a lighting circuit 5. The fluorescent tube 1 has a folding structure. The protrusion 2 is formed of a nearly spherical shape which is protruded toward a direction different from an opening direction of both end parts so as to be integrated with the fluorescent tube 1 at an arbitrary position between both end parts for opening the fluorescent tube 1, and which has a cavity going through an inside of the fluorescent tube 1 formed inside. The housing part 3 houses the lighting circuit 5. The base 4 is connected with an external power source, and the lighting circuit 5 makes the fluorescent tube 1 lit by the power source supplied through the base 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
