<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control output voltage so as to hold the output voltage at a constant level to a fluctuation in input voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A step-up/down DC-DC converter 1 includes a control part 4 having a mode switching part 7 for making a switch to any mode of a step-down mode, a step-up/down mode and a step-up mode. The control part 4 controls so as to gradually reduce the number of step-down switching times during making a switch from the step-down mode to the step-up/down mode, gradually increase the number of step-down switching times during making a switch from the step-up/down mode to the step-down mode, gradually reduce the number of step-up switching times during making a switch from the step-up mode to the step-up/down mode, and gradually increase the number of step-up switching times during making a switch from the step-up/down mode to the step-up mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
