<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer that endures a necessary flow rate and a nozzle pressure, and has an ink circulation route reduced in ink flowing and dropping due to impact and vibration. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet printer includes an ink circulation route having: a recording unit having an ink head provided with a nozzle surface where a plurality of nozzles are formed; a first tank arranged above the nozzle surface in the direction of gravitational force and storing ink to be supplies to the recording unit; a second tank arranged below the nozzle surface in the direction of gravitational force, and collecting and storing ink from the recording unit; a first tube connecting the recording unit and the first tank; a second tube connecting the recording unit and the second tank; a third tube connecting the first tank and the second tank; and a pump for piping up ink in the second tank to the first tank, wherein the first tube serpentines in the direction of gravitational force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
