<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal correction apparatus capable of performing an optimal correction processing in accordance with each quality of various contents having different qualities. <P>SOLUTION: The signal correction apparatus comprises a tone quality estimation unit 100 for estimating a tone quality of a signal input from one or more channels and for generating channel importance level information, which indicates an importance level of each channel, and frequency importance level information, which indicates an importance level of each frequency; a high-tone-quality processing control unit 200 for determining an effective channel and an effective frequency component as targets to be processed into a high tone quality based on the channel importance level information and the frequency importance level information and for generating effective channel information and effective processing frequency information based on the determination; and a high-tone-quality processing unit 500 for performing a high tone quality processing only for a signal of the effective channel and the effective frequency component based on the effective channel information and the effective processing frequency information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
