<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce defects in transfer of a pattern to a magnetic recording medium due to unevenness of magnetic characteristics of a magnetic layer. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic recording medium 1 which has a vertical recording layer is disposed and fixed at a position opposed to a master information recording body 200 on which a servo pattern is formed. After distances and attachment angles of a first magnet 51 and a second magnet 61, disposed opposite each other across the master information recording body 200 and magnetic recording medium 1, from and to the magnetic recording medium 1 are adjusted based upon measurement results of distributions of coercive force Hc on a first surface and a second surface of the magnetic recording medium 1, the first magnet 51 and second magnet 61 are rotated synchronously in a circumferential direction of the magnetic recording body 1 to magnetically transfer a servo pattern formed on the master information recording body 200 to the magnetic recording body 1 brought into contact with the master information recording body 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
