<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To narrow the width of a frame area on the outer side of an effective touch area, in a touch panel for which an inspection pad is arranged on the other side of a detection electrode and to which power is supplied from one side of the detection electrode. <P>SOLUTION: A capacitance type touch panel includes a plurality of X electrodes and a plurality of Y electrodes crossing the X electrodes and supplies a drive voltage from one side of the plurality of Y electrodes. Lead-out wiring is alternately connected respectively to one end part of the plurality of Y electrodes, each of the lead-out wiring is formed on the outer side of the effective touch area and connected to terminals corresponding to the respective lead-out wiring. At the end parts on the side to which the lead-out wiring is not connected of the respective Y electrodes, the inspection pads connected to the respective Y electrodes are formed respectively. The plurality of inspection pads are formed on an area where the lead-out wiring is formed on the outer side of the effective touch area, a shield electrode is provided between the lead-out wiring and the respective inspection pads, and the voltage of a common mode as the drive voltage supplied to the Y electrodes is supplied to the shield electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
