A BACKLIGHT UNIT

PURPOSE: A backlight unit is provided to enable a user to easily manage the backlight unit by enabling a user to independently assembly plural light emitting assemblies. CONSTITUTION: A light source module(13) includes light sources. A light guide plate(15) is contiguously arranged at the light source module. The light guide plate includes a light reception unit which receive light in which is emitted from the light source and a light emission unit which emits the light. A reflection sheet is installed at the back side of the light guide plate. A light emitting assembly is arranged at the reflection sheet. The light emitting assembly includes a light control unit which reflects the light in which emitted from the light guide plate.
