[Class 83 (iii)] A combination hand tool for cleaning and trimming the terminals and posts of secondary batteries comprises internal and external tapered reamers each having a number of cutting or scraping edges. A handle 1 of cruciform shape has internal cutters 4 of different tapers in one pair of opposite arms 3 and external reamer blades 6 in the other pair of arms adapted to clean and turn the terminal ends of the battery connections. The cutters 4 are resilient and may be secured by riveting, while the blades 6 are accommodated in slots. Specification 611,000 is referred to. |
