SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CALCULATING SIMILARITY BETWEEN DOCUMENTS

PURPOSE: A similarity calculation system between documents and method thereof are provided to improve the accuracy of a similarity calculation by considering a common in-link and a common out-link. CONSTITUTION: A connection document comparison unit(110) compares the connection document of an object document with the connection document of an interesting document by considering reference documents to the connection document. A similarity calculation unit(120) calculates a similarity between the interesting document and the object document using the number of common connection documents. The connection document of the interesting document includes the reference document which references the interesting document.
