PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device having high operation reliability and capable of being downsized. SOLUTION: The switching device comprises: an operating knob 3 having a coupling part 15 installed at end parts of a pair of key top parts 10; through-holes 11 into which the key top parts 10 are inserted are exposed; a case 1 having support parts 12 to face the lower surfaces of the end parts on the side opposite to the coupling part 15 of the operating knob 3; a holding member 4 to hold a part of the coupling part 15 of the operating knob 3 between the part of an open edge of the through-hole 11 when key top parts 10 are not pressed; and a switch 19 disposed downward of the key top parts 10. By depressing the key top parts 10, an elastic part installed at the coupling part 15 is elastically deformed, and the key top parts 10 is made possible to be pushed down in a mutually independent state and are inclined to press the switch 19 using the support parts 12 as fulcrums.
