<p>A roof vegetation system is proposed, comprising a base layer preferably embodied as a water-permeable, root barrier fabric. A number of tile-like units are positioned thereon, wherein each unit comprises a filling and a fabric disposed around it. The filling comprises a substrate with seed disposed therein. The fabric is water-permeable and embodied so that it can be perforated on the underside. The base fabric is provided with projections extending therefrom, wherein the free ends are embodied as barb-like. By pressing the units firmly on the base fabric, perforation of the projection into the unit and reciprocal fixing between the unit and the base fabric occur. The base fabric is held in place along the circumference on the roof by means of a ballast weight.</p> |
