PURPOSE: A reinforcement structure and method for a beam are provided to remove space restriction in construction and reduce construction costs. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcement structure for a beam comprises a pair of end brackets(30,31) which are respectively installed on both ends of a beam(20) for fixing of a steel wire, a middle bracket(50) which is installed in the middle of the beam and fixed with an anchor, a steel wire(40) which is installed to reinforce the vertical load of the beam and coupled to the end brackets, a steel wire middle support(60) which is located under the middle bracket and supports the middle of the steel wire, and a coupler which couples the steel wire middle support to the middle bracket.
