<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking vehicle which permits casters to be switched from being fixed for a straight advance to turning around or vice versa to suit a user by a very simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In the walking vehicle 1, a handle frame 4 is provided above a chassis frame 2 through supports 3. Front casters 6 and rear casters 7 are attached to the front and rear ends of the chassis frame 2. Caster supporting frames 23 turnably attached to the rear casters 7 are provided with locking holes H. The chassis frame 2 is provided with operating bolts 31 (locking members) which can move up and down between the standby position and the locking position. Lowering the operating bolts 31 to the locking position with the rear casters 7 faced in a straight advance direction engages the tips of the operating bolts 31 into the locking holes H.
