<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separating plate and an electric compressor equipped therewith solving such a problem that an absolute amount of the separable lubricating oil inevitably decreases due to decrease of a region where the refrigerant gas flow containing lubricating oil abuts which is caused by lowering of the height of a motor coil end accompanying lightweight and higher efficiency of the electric compressor by using a separation method preparing a newly provided cylindrical inner wall to the oil separation plate, so that the absolute amount of the separable lubricating oil is increased even when a lower coil end is used. <P>SOLUTION: The oil separating plate 15 is fixed to a rotor and arranged facing the gas flow containing oil and flowing approximately parallel with the rotational axis of the rotor, and includes a plate-form part 21 extending in the radial direction when viewed from the rotational axis, a cut-up part 22 cut up from the plate-form part, and at its outer peripheral edge, with a peripheral wall part 19 formed upright in the direction of the rotational axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
