<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel tower plate part nesting building prevention device, exhibiting a function of preventing damage due to a bird over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: This steel tower plate part nesting building prevention device 1 includes: a base 10; an inclined face 20; and right and left side surfaces 30. The steel tower plate part nesting building prevention device 1 can be installed on a steel tower by fixing the steel tower using a bolt longer than an ordinary bolt and fixing the device to the distal end of the long bolt projected upward at the fixing portion. When the steel tower plate part nesting building prevention device 1 is attached to the steel tower, even if nest building material is carried to the position where the steel tower plate part nesting building prevention device 1 is disposed, the inclined face can slip off the nest building material so that bird's nest building at the steel tower can be surely prevented. Further in the steel tower plate part nesting building prevention device 1, a portion for preventing nest building is formed like a surface, so that the device cannot be simply broken or bent by the force of the bird. Therefore, once the device is installed, the function of preventing nest building is not lost.
