PURPOSE: A device for removing foreign materials from the backup roll of a roller straightening machine is provided to remove foreign materials from a backup roller without disassembling and reassembling units connected to the backup roller. CONSTITUTION: A device for removing foreign materials from the backup roll of a roller straightening machine comprises a main roller(100), a backup roller(200), and a foreign-material removing unit(300). The main roller applies force to a steel sheet(20) to flatten the steel sheet. The backup roller moves corresponding to the movement of the main roller. The backup roller back-ups the main roller. The foreign-material removing unit is close to the backup roller. The foreign-material removing unit removes foreign materials from the backup roller. The main roller comprises a upper roller(110) and a lower roller(120).
