<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of restraining deformation such as deflection of a device body. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device 100 includes a plurality of LED modules 2 retained on a chassis 1 and irradiating light to an outer edge of the chassis 1, and a light guide plate 4 for illuminating by controlling directions of light from the plurality of LED modules 2. Moment acting on the chassis 1 as a device body for retaining the LED modules 2 can be reduced since the LED modules 2 are not arranged at an outer edge of the lighting device 100, in comparison with the case in which the LED modules 2 are arranged on the outer edge of the lighting device 100, and deformation of the lighting device such as deflection of the chassis 1 can be restrained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
