<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum-coated wire having an insulation coating on the outside of a core wire formed by twisting a plurality of aluminum strands, in which solder penetrates into the core wire. <P>SOLUTION: An aluminum-coated wire 10 has an insulation coating 16 on the outside of a core wire 12 formed by twisting a plurality of aluminum strands 14. To solder the aluminum-coated wire 10, one end of the aluminum-coated wire 10 is immersed into a molten solder 42, the end at which the core wire 12 is exposed by removing the insulation coating 16, the ultrasonic vibration is applied to the molten solder 42, and the air inside the insulation coating 16 of the aluminum-coated wire 10 is sucked out from the other end of the aluminum-coated wire 10. By this, the molten solder 42 can be adhered onto the outer periphery of the core wire 12 and can also be penetrated into the inside of the core wire 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
