<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device, capable of suppressing small vibration, and capable of damping vibration without causing breakage even if large vibration is generated. <P>SOLUTION: The vibration control device includes: a first vibration damping unit which has a first mass body, is set so as to be synchronized with an inherent vibration frequency of a structure at which the first mass body is installed, and damps vibration input to the structure; and a second vibration damping unit which is arranged in parallel with the first vibration damping unit, and has a second mass body. When a relative movement of the first mass body with respect to the structure caused by the vibration becomes larger than a prescribed amount, the first vibration damping unit and the second vibration damping unit resonate with each other, and the synchronized frequency is changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
