<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control system capable of improving vehicle stability when brake control is performed. <P>SOLUTION: The brake control system brakes a vehicle by at least one of a first braking force so produced by each braking device provided to each vehicle wheel as to function on the vehicle and a second braking force so produced as to function on the vehicle by allowing a vehicle power source to be a load on vehicle drive wheels. When achieving a required deceleration i.e., a deceleration required for the vehicle, a ratio between the first braking force and the second braking force in the braking force to function on the vehicle is varied according to traveling environments (S510, S530, S540) influencing the vehicle behavior stability (S520, S550). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
