<p>A hurdle for hurdle racing with two hollow base parts/feet arranged at a distance from one another and designed to rest on a supporting surface, wherein a counterweight is displaceably arranged in each base part, tubular elements extending vertically in relation to the supporting surface are fixed to one end of each base part, with each tubular element consisting of two tubes displaceable telescopically relative to one another, elements for locking the telescopic tubes relative to one another and a bar connects the upper ends of the tubes situated furthest away from the associated base part. A strip-type force-transmitting element extends from the hollow space in each base part to the associated tubular element, and is connected to the tube supporting the bar, a gear transmission device arranged in each base part engages both with the strip-type force-transmitting element and with a driver element for the counterweight.</p> |
