<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which can satisfy even an advanced slot machine player fully and also allows a beginner and an intermediate-level class player to acquire tokens sufficiently. <P>SOLUTION: This slot machine includes: a plurality of reels 31 displaying a plurality of kinds of symbols; a stop switch 42 operated by the player for stopping the rotation of the respective reels 31; a reel-control-pattern data table 67 which has a plurality of reel control patterns determining the stop-control of the reels 31 corresponding to the operation order of the stop switch 42; a reel-control-pattern lottery means 68 which draws the reel control pattern from the reel-control-pattern data table 67; and a reel-control-pattern informing means 69 which informs of the contents concerning the reel control pattern selected by the reel-control-pattern lottery mean 68.
