PURPOSE: A device for controlling the temperature of the sidewall of a blast furnace is provided to inhibit the temperature of a part of the sidewall of a blast furnace from increasing by adding titanium oxide to the blast furnace through a lance unit. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling the temperature of the sidewall of a blast furnace comprises a lance unit(110), a pulverized-coal supply unit(120), a mineral supply unit(130), and a hot-air supply unit(140). The lance unit is installed in the blast furnace. The lance unit is communicated with the inside of the blast furnace. The pulverized-coal supply unit supplies pulverized coal to the blast furnace through the lance unit. The pulverized-coal supply unit sends the pulverized coal to the lance unit. The mineral supply unit supplies minerals to the blast furnace through the lance unit. The mineral supply unit sends the minerals to the lance unit.
