<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tube supporting device which has a compact extendable shaft with a small diameter to whose lower end an X-ray tube is attached, performs elevating/lowering operation quietly and smoothly, and facilitates maintenance of the extendable shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The X-ray tube supporting device 11 supports an X rail 13 used as a fixed rail for guiding movement in the X direction on a ceiling surface of a ceiling part of a photography room. The X rail 13 supports a Y rail 14 used as a moving rail that slides along the X direction. The Y rail 14 supports a moving rack 15 that slides in the Y direction along the Y rail 14. The moving rack 15 slides with respect to the ceiling surface in the X direction along the X rail 13 and in the Y direction along the Y rail 14. The moving rack supports an upper end of the extendable shaft 16 and the lower end of the extendable shaft 16 supports the X-ray tube 17 used for X-ray photography of a subject within the photography room. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
