<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear guide device having end caps that can withstand high-speed drive. <P>SOLUTION: The linear guide device 1 includes: a rail 2 having rail track grooves 4; a slider 5 having a slider track groove 7 opposing the rail track grooves 4, and a return path 9; a load path 12 formed of the rail track grooves 4 and the slider track groove 7; the end caps 11 which are arranged at front and rear ends of the slider 5, and have direction change paths 13; and balls 8 circulating in a circulation passage 18 which communicates with the load path 12 via the direction change paths 13 and the return path 9. Scoop-up parts 14 for scooping up the balls 8 from the load path 12 are formed at sides of the rail track grooves 4 of the direction change paths 13 of the end caps 11, and the hardness of the scop-up part 14 is made to be not lower than 35HR in Rockwell hardness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
