<p>An image processing system for an image processing apparatus is described. The image processing system is arranged to enhance the quality of a scanned image by processing the scanned image data. As the scanned image data comprises artefacts that could be enlarged by the processing, the image enhancement process is only applied to the luminance data of the scanned image data. By doing so, the occurrence of colour cast may, at least partly, be avoided.</p> |
