<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated secondary battery capable of improving life characteristics and reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A lithium-ion secondary battery (laminated secondary battery) 100 comprises an electrode group 50 with cathodes 10 that contain cathode active material layers 12 and anodes 20 that contain anode active material layers 22 and are placed opposite to the cathodes 10, a metallic sheath container 60 that encapsulates the electrode group 50 together with a nonaqueous electrolyte, and a swellable resin that is placed within the sheath container 60 and has a swelling property against the nonaqueous electrolyte. This swellable resin is dispersed in the active material layers of the electrode group 50, and a pressurizing force is applied to the electrode group 50 in a lamination direction by the swellable resin (active material layer) that swells as a result of a nonaqueous electrolyte being injected into the sheath container 60. At this point, the electrode group 50 has a pressurizing force applied to its cathode active material layers 12 and anode active material layers 22 except for (at least part of) edges of the cathodes 10 and anodes 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
