<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a movable body with relatively small force by storing an energizing force, applying an attenuating force and using the stored energizing force when the movable body moves in at least one direction of forward and backward movement in relation to an attenuating mechanism for a movable body. <P>SOLUTION: The attenuating mechanism 10 for a movable body comprises an abutment body (e.g., a striker 40), a movable body (e.g., slider 50) slidably mounted to a case component 60 and movable from a stand-by position at which the movable body is mounted by hitting the abutment body (e.g., the striker 40), an elastic member (e.g., a spring 70) which stores an energization force when the movable body (e.g., the slider 50) moves from the stand-by position, and an attenuating member (e.g., a rotary damper 80) for applying at least an attenuating force when the movable body (e.g., the slider 50) moves in an direction in which the elastic member (e.g., the spring 70) stores the energization force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
