BORING METHOD USING ROCKING DIE FORGING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new boring method using rocking die forging.

SOLUTION: There is provide the boring method for boring a deep hole in a material W by using a rocking die forging method for forming the material W by rocking the tool axis G of a forging tool 10 which is inclined relative to a reference axis C. The method includes a tool rocking step of pressuring a part of the surface of the material W by the end face of the forging tool 10 by rocking the forging tool 10 while regulating rotation of the forging tool relative to the tool axis G, and a tool feeding step of relatively moving a rocking point P where the reference axis C and the tool axis G are crossed along the reference axis C while the reference axis C is fixed in cooperation with the tool rocking step.
