PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection film for an optical member having a fine and uneven pattern, which protection film is excellent in storage stability, does not cause detachment in a post processing process, and is detached without adhesive transfer after use.

SOLUTION: There is provided a protection film for an optical member having a functional, fine and uneven pattern provided with optical functionality. The protection film for the optical member has a fine and uneven pattern for protection in an uneven shape which is reverse to the uneven shape of the functional, fine and uneven pattern of the optical member.
