<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack that prevents coating defects and thereby prevents degradation in characteristics of the battery pack, and a manufacturing method of the battery pack. <P>SOLUTION: A battery pack comprises a battery, an exterior member having U-shaped cross-section and including a main surface and two side surfaces erected on both ends of the main surface, and a resin layer uniting the battery and the exterior member.
