<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation line used when a target drive point of an engine is acquired in a travel mode prioritizing dynamic characteristics of a vehicle compared to a normal travel mode, like a power mode, a sequential shift mode, and a brake mode. <P>SOLUTION: Under the assumption that a power switch is turned on when a shift position is in a D position and a travel mode prioritizing the dynamic characteristics of the vehicle over fuel consumption and quietness is set when the shift position is in a B position or the shift position is in an S position, abnormal sound-vibration allowable operation lines L2 to L4 in which an engine can be effectively driven in a range of a drive region including a portion of an abnormal sound-vibration generation region are set as practice operation lines, and the target drive point of the engine is set by applying request power to the practice operation lines.
