<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously and smoothly perform superfinishing work on a workpiece having a first groove and a second groove with high accuracy for both the grooves. <P>SOLUTION: The superfinishing method includes: a first groove finishing step of mounting a workpiece W having the first groove and the second groove having angular directions different from each other on a driving device, and forwardly pressing a superfinishing grinding stone to the first groove, oscillating the grinding stone while driving the workpiece, and then retracting the grinding stone; and a second groove finishing step of forwardly pressing the superfinishing grinding stone to the second groove, oscillating the grinding stone while driving the workpiece W, and then retracting the grinding stone. Between the two steps, the method includes; an angle changing step of changing angles of a rocking link so as to adapt the tilt angle of a grinding stone holder from the first groove to the second groove; and a groove changing step of moving the superfinishing grinding stone in a direction parallel to a linking member to make the grinding stone face from the first groove to the second groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
