<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch 3-D video without causing uncomfortable feeling or eye fatigue upon a viewer. <P>SOLUTION: Figure 9 shows a third example of parallax adjustment section parameter in graphical form. In the case of this diagram, a parallax between first and second video sources is adjusted in such a way that the depth based on a parallax between the first and second video sources is matched at an intermediate value thereof. More specifically, after the intermediate value is obtained, the two are matched by bringing the parallax between the first and second video sources gradually closer to the intermediate value in a section where fader values are from 0% to 20%. Wiping is performed in a section where the fader values are from 20% to 70% to switch into the second video source. Then, the parallax of the second video source is brought back gradually to the original value in a section where the fader values are from 70% to 100%.
