<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to view a three-dimentional (3D) image intended by a producer even when a practical viewing environment is different from a simulated viewing environment. <P>SOLUTION: A reading unit 51 obtains image data of a three-dimentional (3D) image and a simulated viewing environment parameter that is a parameter in a viewing environment simulated by a content producer. The simulated viewing environment parameter is supplied to a correction processing unit 54. An operation input unit 55 obtains a practical viewing environment parameter that is a parameter in a practical viewing environment of a user who views the 3D image input by the user and supplies the parameter to the correction processing unit 54. The correction processing unit 54 corrects the 3D image depending on a difference of the obtained the simulated viewing environment parameter and the practical environment parameter.
