<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-side bolt that ensures usability even when there is small space on the back of a connected piece. <P>SOLUTION: A deformation guide part (10B) of the outer diameter in contact with the inner surface of a sleeve is formed between a head (10A) and a shank (10C) of a torque-shear-type bolt (10). A round deformation guide face is formed directly under the head, a sleeve (11) is fitted on the bolt's deformation guide part and the shank, and a nut (13) is screwed on the bolt shank. The bolt and the sleeve are inserted into a hole in pieces to be connected (14A, 14B), fastening is conducted by receiving the reaction against a torque revolving the nut with a serration part (10D), thereby pulling the bolt shank into the hole of the pieces. Inward deformation of the sleeve tip is restricted by the deformation guide part of the bolt and the sleeve tip is plastically deformed outwardly by the deformation guide face positioned directly under the bolt head, resulting in the sleeve being expanded into a shape of washer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
