<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition excellent in both of light leakage shielding performance and durability when applied to an optical member such as a polarizing plate, a method for producing the adhesive composition, an adhesive, and an adhesive sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The adhesive composition contains (A) a first acrylic polymer having a mass-average molecular weight of 1,000,000-2,000,000, (B) a second acrylic polymer having a mass-average molecular weight of 10,000-40,000 and (C) a crosslinking agent, wherein the first acrylic polymer (A) contains 1.0-5.0 mass% of a hydroxyl-containing monomer as a constituent component, the second acrylic polymer (B) does not contain the hydroxyl-containing monomer or contains the hydroxyl-containing monomer as a constituent component at a ratio equal to or smaller than the ratio of the hydroxyl-containing monomer in the first acrylic polymer (A), and the ratio of the second acrylic polymer (B) is 10-50 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the first acrylic polymer (A). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
